Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

A new gathering in Madrid united community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, placed emphasis on intercultural coexistence, religious freedom and respect. The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the news eu taxonomy Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how open dialogue can reduce prejudice.

Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
